Privacy Policy KMM
Last Updated: 11.09.2026
Kuori Oy ("us", "we", or "our") operates the KMM (Kuori Mobile Management) service (hereinafter referred to as the "Service").
This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.
We use your data to provide and improve the Service. The Service is used by organizations to manage Android devices they own or provide to their employees. Where the Service processes data about those devices and the people who use them, the organization decides what is collected and why, and we process it on the organization's behalf.
DEFINITIONS
- Service — Service is the KMM mobile device management service operated by Kuori Oy, consisting of the KMM management console, the KMM Client application installed on managed devices, and Kuori's sign-in service.
- Personal Data — Personal Data means data about a living individual who can be identified from that data (or from those and other information either in our possession or likely to come into our possession).
- Usage Data — Usage Data is data collected automatically either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).
- Cookies — Cookies are small files stored on your device (computer or mobile device).
- Data Controller — Data Controller means the natural or legal person who (either alone or jointly or in common with other persons) determines the purposes for which and the manner in which any personal information is, or are to be, processed. The organization that has enrolled a device in the Service is the Data Controller of the data collected from that device and of its administrators' accounts. We are the Data Controller of the data we process to operate and secure the Service itself.
- Data Processors (or Service Providers) — Data Processor (or Service Provider) means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Data Controller. We act as a Data Processor for the organizations that use the Service, and we may use the services of various Service Providers in order to process your data more effectively.
- Data Subject (or User) — Data Subject is any living individual who is using our Service and is the subject of Personal Data: the administrators who sign in to the console and the people who use managed devices.
INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.
Types of Data Collected
Personal Data
While using our Service, the organization that administers your account provides us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Data"). Personally identifiable information may include:
- Email address
- Name
- Your role in the Service and the organization you belong to
- Cookies
Sign-in to the Service is handled by Kuori's sign-in service. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address or with your Google account. When you sign in with Google, Google supplies your email address, name and profile picture to the sign-in service. The sign-in service holds your login identity; the Service links it to your account with an identifier that reveals nothing about you.
We do not use your Personal Data to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials.
Device Data
The Service collects information about the managed Android devices enrolled by an organization, through Google's Android Management API and, where the organization has enabled it, the KMM Client application installed on the device:
- Serial number and hardware identifier
- Brand, manufacturer, model and hardware information such as memory and storage size
- Android version and software information such as build details and security patch level
- Security posture and compliance with the organization's policies
- Installed applications
- Whether the KMM Client application is connected
- Screenshots of the device screen, taken only when an administrator of the organization requests one
KMM does not access contacts, messages, photos or other content stored on the device, except that a requested screenshot shows whatever is on the screen at that moment. Screenshots are taken only on request, for remote support and troubleshooting, and only the five most recent per device are kept. The organization decides when screenshots are requested and is responsible for informing the people who use its devices.
Usage Data
We do not collect Usage Data. The Service does not record your browser type, browser version, the pages you visit, the time spent on them or unique device identifiers of your computer.
Tracking & Cookies Data
You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you will not be able to sign in to our Service.
USE OF DATA
Kuori Oy uses the collected data for various purposes:

We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
- Your account data is kept for as long as your organization keeps your account and is deleted when an administrator deletes the account.
- Your login identity at Kuori's sign-in service is disabled once no Kuori application grants you access and deleted sixty (60) days later. Backups of the sign-in service are kept for thirty (30) days.
- Device data is kept for as long as the device is enrolled and deleted, together with its screenshots, when the device is removed from the Service.
- Records of administrative actions and sign-ins are kept for up to three (3) years. They contain the email address of the person who acted and identify what was changed, which may include another person's email address and name or a device serial number, and they outlive the deletion of the account or device they concern.

- To comply with a legal obligation
- To protect and defend the rights or property of Kuori Oy
- To prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service
- To protect the personal safety of users of the Service or the public
