Release Notes
2.6.0
What's new in DSM?
This release changes how you sign in and adds a dashboard for each device group. The sections below cover what you will see and what you need to do.
Signing in
One sign-in method. The "Sign in" button takes you straight to the Kuori sign-in page. Google, Microsoft and email-link sign-in are gone. You sign in with your Kuori account, the same account other Kuori services use, using the email address your DSM account already has. Kuori creates the Kuori account for existing DSM users before the switch, so nothing changes on your side except the sign-in page.
You land where you were going. Opening a DSM link while signed out sends you to sign in and then to that page, not to the dashboard.
Signing out signs you out of Kuori too. The next sign-in asks for your credentials again. If your session expires on its own after a period of inactivity, only DSM signs you out.
Session length. A session ends after 8 hours without activity, and after 24 hours at the latest.
Permission errors no longer sign you out. Opening something your account cannot access shows a permission message and keeps you signed in. Pages you cannot open redirect to the dashboard.
Customer selection is remembered per account. The customer you last selected is restored when you sign in again, and it no longer carries over between different accounts on the same browser.
Help
- Support opens a dialog with a link to the Kuori wiki and the software support email address.
- Kuori wiki opens the wiki directly.
- Privacy policy opens the current privacy policy.
Groups
Group dashboard. Each group now opens on a dashboard with total, connected and disconnected device counts, a map of the group's devices, and the group's alerts and events. A Devices tab shows the device list for the group. Group pages use the full width of wide screens and link back to the group list.
Devices
Gateway MAC address. Devices report the MAC address of their gateway. It is a column in the device list and a row on the device's Information tab.
Offline devices. The Manage menu is disabled while a device is offline, since commands cannot reach it.
Coordinates. A device that has no location yet can be given coordinates from its settings.
Map errors. If the map cannot load, the page shows a "Map unavailable" placeholder and the rest of the dashboard keeps working.
Device information. Labels on the Information tab now match the column names in the device list.
Alerts
Ignoring all alerts refreshes the alert views right away.
Modem management
For customer admins with Teltonika modem devices.
Credentials are required. The Modem tab asks for the modem username and password before it shows status or logs. DSM checks the credentials against the gateway first and tells you if they are refused. There are no default credentials any more. Credentials are not written to any log.
Performance
Dashboard alert and event views load faster, and pages no longer wait for a session check before showing their content.

2.6.1
What's new in DSM?
This release makes device failures easier to understand and fixes issues with signing in and deleting users.
Signing in
Try another account after a refused sign-in. A refused sign-in no longer leaves you stuck retrying with the same account. DSM ends the Kuori sign-in session before showing the error. The next sign-in asks for your credentials again, so you can use a different account.
Groups
Open a group from a device. Group names on a device's Groups tab are now links. Select a name to open that group's dashboard.
Devices
Failure descriptions. The Device failures table on a device's Logs tab now shows a Description alongside the Failure Code and Time. The Sensor column has been removed.
More failure codes explained. Descriptions now cover humidity sensor failures and memory and initialization errors. Failure code 1000 is now labelled "Unknown Error". Codes DSM does not recognize show "Unknown failure code".
Alerts
Failure descriptions in emails. Failure alert emails now include a description next to each code, such as "111 (Temperature sensor 1 inoperable)". The descriptions match those shown in DSM.
